i2 Program Goals

    • To deliver current and cutting-edge interventional content (coronary, peripheral and valvular) through innovative methods
    • To provide a focused venue to train, educate and guide the interventionalist and cardiac care team members to the next level
    • To emphasize the translation of evidence-based science and clinical trial data into daily interventional practice
    • To offer needs-based interventional education including the comprehensive review of current established practice patterns as well as state-of-the-art updates and techniques
    • To deliver a broad, deep, inclusive program via close collaboration with SCAI and other interventional organizations
    • To demonstrate the ACC’s long-term vision and commitment to the worldwide interventional community

i2 Target Audience

i2 Summit 2007 is intended for interventional cardiologists and radiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, vascular specialists, scientists and clinical trialists. While much of the program content is specially geared to the worldwide community of interventional physicians and scientists, other health care professionals including medical students and trainees, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and technicians will also benefit from the depth and diversity of the program.
